At our Discovery Group a week or two ago, we discussed what it means to have an eternal perspective. Does it mean we have a view toward our salvation and that we're Heaven-bound when our current life ends? But if this is our only mindset, then couldn't it breed complacency and possibly conceit? So then, is an eternal perspective a desire to reach those who do not yet know Christ?
Perhaps it's a combination of both; a thankfulness for God's grace and forgiveness in our lives coupled with the desire to do what we can to reach others who don't know Christ.
